VIVE4U offeres you a travel experience like no other. Can you picture yourself spending your morning picking fruits and vegetables for tomorrow's breakfast, lunch and dinner? How about sharing your love for art by teaching a class at the Vilcabamba Cultural Community Center to eager students, both young and old? Or, perhaps your gift would be to simply spend time with one of Vilcabamba's senior citizens, who would treasure the warmth of human companionship for an hour or two?
There are as many different ways to take part in our voluntourism program as there are different individuals.
Students: You've spent years in school gaining an education – but as of yet you have little or no practical EXPERIENCE. Well, here's your chance to gain some! Participate in a Voluntourism trip and put some of that fresh knowledge to good practical use... you'll be gaining invaluable experience and be helping others at the same time.
Professionals: We offer a valuable opportunity in which to augment your chosen career path. By applying your skills in a way not possible in the 'mainstream' workplace, you come away with an added value through the satisfaction of applying your expertise in ways that make a positive difference.
General Helpers: We need helpers of all skill levels and experience sets, including beginners. One need not have a degree or even any experience at all to be a meaningful contributor to our programs.
